Juanita Simmons
Juanita Simmons performs graduation clearance, prepares program order, codes and processes graduate and undergraduate requests for degree applications, course waivers and requests for course substitution and collects data.
She analyzes and maintains statistical data, graduation data, performs academic program changes and updates for Academy One files. Oversees the completion of building the online application for graduation.
She also:
- Manages the Banner CAPP Degree Audit Program.
- Reviews and analyzes program requirements and updates to CAPP.
- Trains faculty, advisors and selected staff members on Banner-CAPP.
- Assists in the preparation of Title III Time/Effort Reports and the Title III Annual Reports.
- Processes change of Major forms for all students.
- Provides degree evaluation to Registrar upon request to determine % of degree requirements for student athletes.
- Ensures timely processing of open/regular requisitions for certificates, diplomas covers, and honor accessories.
- She has been employed with SC State more than 17 years. She worked in the Office
of Financial Aid for 11 years and Human Resource Management for 5 years.
