Kenneth McCaster

Beyond his contributions to the university, McCaster has also served as the Chief of Police and Major of Police Operations at South Carolina State University. Prior to his tenure here, he held prominent law enforcement positions at various locations throughout South Carolina, including Saluda, Lake City Santee, the Richland County Sheriff's Department, Claflin University, and the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Department. McCaster's dedication to public service is evident in his long and distinguished career and his current role as the Orangeburg County Councilman for District 3.
