Dr. Michael Todd Landis is an assistant professor of history in the Department of Social Sciences at SC State University. He teaches courses on U.S. history and politics and serves on the College of Education, Humanities, & Social Sciences Communications Committee.

Background

Landis joined the Bulldog family in 2022. He had taught history at colleges and universities in Florida, Nevada, Connecticut, Texas, and New York. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Saratoga County History Center (Ballston Spa, NY). Before entering academia, he was a professional musician and music instructor.
