Shanora G. Brown

Dr. Shanora G. Brown mentors and teaches the future leaders of tomorrow. She is the Co-Founder and Co-Advisor of The S.i.S. (Sisters in STEM) Network and also serves as one of the advisors for Beta Kappa Chi National Scientific Honor Society.

Dr. Brown is a distinguished alumna of South Carolina State University, and her commitment to her alma mater led her back as an associate professor in 2013. With a stellar academic and research background, Dr. Brown's accomplishments have been recognized with numerous research grants and awards, totaling an impressive sum of over $1.3 million.  Her expertise and contributions in the field of research have earned her membership in prestigious organizations such as The American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and the Minorities in Research Council (MIRC), reflecting her commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and promoting diversity in research.
