Background

 
Trustee Scott is the retired vice President for facilities planning at the College of Charleston.

She worked as a paralegal in Atlanta, Georgia, and San Francisco, Californo and as a city planner, Charleston.

She is chair of the Board of Directors for the Lowcountry FoodBank, served on the boards of the Charleston YMCA and Tricounty SPEAKS (formerly People Against Rape), member of the 1995 class of Leadership South Carolina, and served on various college and city ad hoc committees.

Trustee Scott is married with 2 daughters, a financial planner and a medical social worker.
