ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR-INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECH

Description of Duties:

Teach undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology program. In addition, the candidate will also be expected to advise and recruit students, develop program, conduct scholarly research, and participate in committee assignments and perform other duties as may be assigned.

 
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Doctorate in a closely related field are required. The candidate must have a knowledge base within several of the following areas: Industrial Operations Research, Production and Inventory Control, Simulation Modeling of Industrial Systems, Human Factors Technology, Plant Layout and Material Handling, Industrial Statistics and Industrial Safety Analysis. Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, scholarly research activity, and possess excellent communication skills, and personal concern for the student.

 
Special Requirements:

Must have a minimum of three years of relevant industrial experience preferably in a U. S. firm.
