Description of Duties:

The Advanced Medical Surgical faculty teaching position will be responsible for teaching advanced medical surgical nursing concepts, nursing skills, and nursing care of critically ill patients to upper division nursing students. This person will be responsible for supervising students in critical care settings. This position will also be responsible for duties assigned by the University at the corresponding academic rank of the faculty member.
 
Qualifications:

Ph.D. preferred. Master’s with 3 years of critical care nursing experience considered. Must be licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing. Teaching experience required.
 
Special Requirements:

Experience in medical surgical nursing acute care settings and critical care nursing experience is a definite plus.
