| Description of Duties: | |||||
The overall responsibility of the MBA Program Director is to promote the growth and development of the MBA Program. Specific responsibilities include: (1) to recruit students, (2) respond to enquiries from potential applicants, (3) screen the applications for admission, (4) serve as an advisor to students during their first semester, (5) monitor the progression of students, (6) develop and disseminated promotional material, (7) develop internships and experiential learning opportunities for students, (8) seek external funs to promote program activities, (9) develop placement strategies for graduates, (10) engage in activities to promote the growth and qualitative enhancement of the MBA Program, and (11) will have 50% teaching responsibilities. The MBA Director reports to the Dean of the College of Business and Professional Sciences. |

| Qualifications: | |||||
The applicant is expected to have an earned doctoral degree in one of the business disciplines, at least three years of teaching experience, and some experience of managing or working with a MBA Program. The candidate is also expected to have a record of research and other intellectual contributions to justify a tenure-track position. An ability to write proposals for external funding is preferred. |

The candidate is expected to be student-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills. An ability to build collaboration and alliances with other academic institutions, government agencies, and the private sector. |
