| Description of Duties: | |||||
The Department of Biological and Physical Sciences is seeking a Biochemistry/Molecular Biology faculty member who will be teaching courses in biochemistry, general chemistry and molecular biology. This individual must have training in teaching and research techniques common to both biochemistry and molecular biology. The faculty member may be called upon to participate in Departmental, College, and University committees. The candidate must be able to attract extramural research funds. The faculty member is expected to conduct scientific research involving students to enhance their research exposure. |

| Qualifications: | |||||
The faculty member must have an earned doctorate in Biochemistry with techniques applicable to Molecular Biology research. Also, faculty member must be able to communicate effectively in oral presentation and written communication, and to work with students and faculty. Prior teaching and research is highly recommended. This is a full time, tenure tract position. |

OSHA Lab Safety Regulations and MSDS knowledge. Leadership skills are a must. |
