Mr. Jameel O. Allen is a 2001 honor graduate of SC State and a 2006 graduate of Arizona State University. He is a former Human Resources Manager at Fluor Corporation based in Dallas, TX, now serving the company in sales and marketing. He resides in Greer, SC.
Dr. Benetta Gadegbeku Bell is a 1979 graduate of SC State and a graduate of Howard University and the Medical University of South Carolina. In Columbia, SC, Dr. Bell is in private practice of oral surgery, operate dentistry, endodontics, etc., on staff at the Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, and a volunteer for the Richland County Children’s Clinic. She resides in Columbia, SC.
Mr. K. Patrick Davis is a 1993 graduate of the University of South Carolina and a 1998 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Brand Manager at Proctor & Gamble. Mr. Davis managed a $40 million advertising budget for the department of advertising, professional education and all other consumer elements. He resides in Springdale, AR.
Ms. Hope L. Doe is a 1996 graduate of SCSU, a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). She is an executive with Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, and has extensive work experience with companies and clients that include the Defense Logistcis Agency (DLA), the United States Postal Service (USPS), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). She resides in Charlotte, NC.
Mr. Henry F. Graham is a 1993 and 1997 graduate of SC State. He is Co-owner/operator of Carolina Therapy Services where he is responsible for advertising/marketing, audits, etc. Mr. Graham is also a Speech Language Pathologist with the SC Department of Environmental Control. He resides in Orangeburg, SC.
Mr. Willie A. Green is a 1982 graduate of SC State. He is the Financial Liaison Advisor/Defense Contract Audit Agency. Mr. Green also served as adjunct professor for undergraduate Intermediate Accounting in the Block Program at Limestone College, as Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, and as Sergeant Major with the United States Reserve. He resides in Summerville, SC.
Mr. James C. Hampton is a 1999 graduate of SC State. He is a senior systems engineer for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics where he works on the F-22 fighter program. He is also the CEO of Hampton Development & Consulting. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. J. Nathan Hill is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and a United States Army (Army Security Agency-Top Secret Clearance) Veteran. He is an experienced business executive having served as Head of Operations, President, COO and other positions at Morgan Stanley (Master Card and Discover Banks) for many years. Mr. Hill resides in Bethany Beach, DE.
Mrs. Cathy C. Hughes is a 1972 graduate of the University of South Carolina. She is the publisher of the Times and Democrat newspaper in Orangeburg, SC. During her tenure, Mrs. Hughes has served as General Manager, Advertising Director, Business Manager, and Assistant to the Publisher. She resides in Orangeburg, SC.
Mr. Rodell Lawrence is a 1970 graduate of SC State and United States Army Veteran. He is an experienced corporate executive from Xerox Corporation and Owens Corning as well as a successful fund raiser who served in leadership positions at Stillman College and Meharry Medical College. He received an Honorary Doctor of Law degree from SC State in 1992. Mr. Lawrence resides in Statesboro, GA.
Mrs. Mahalia Levine-Sinclair is a 1972 graduate of SC State and a 1970 graduate of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Mrs. Levine-Sinclair is Vice President of Leadership Learning and Development and oversees a budget of over $2 million. She resides in Glendale, AZ.
Ms. Frieda W. Morris is a 1966 graduate of Spelman College and a 1968 graduate of Northwestern University (Medill School of Journalism). She is the Atlanta Bureau Chief of NBC News and a writer for the Encyclopedia Britannica. She resides in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. James Franklin Macon, Jr. is a 1984 graduate of SC State and a 20-year IBM software architect and leader. He is a senior technical staff member at IBM who has 8 patents in Operating Systems and Systems Management. He resides in Raleigh, NC.
Dr. James R. Oglesby is a 1966 graduate of SC State, a 1970 and 1972 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is President and Chief Executive Office for Oglesby and Associates, a consulting firm that provides technical assistance for national, state, and local associations serving the public interest. His is a retired college professor and national speaker/consultant on issues affecting education and other issues of public interest. He resides in Fairfax, VA.
Mr. James H. Owens, Jr. is a 1979 SC State graduate. He is an agent at State Farm Insurance Companies in Greenville, SC, and a motivational speaker.
Mr. Robert A. Pedde is a graduate of Michigan State University. He is President of Westinghouse Savannah River Company in Aiken, SC, with more than 30 years of experience in two government-owned enterprises. He resides in Aiken, SC.
Mr. Arthur F. Powell is a graduate of Purdue University. He is Chief Executive Officer and founder of Powell Capital Markets, Inc., a firm that specializes in public finance, providing investment banking, financial advisory and lease advisory services to its clients. He resides in Warren, NJ.
Mr. Rudolph Simmons is a 1978 graduate of SC State and a 1985 graduate of Duke University. He has 20 plus years of management and professional experience in the areas of procurement, project management and quality control. He is a Section Manager at IBM Manufacturing Company in Spartanburg, SC, who resides in Greer, SC.
Mr. Jonathan Speed is a 1970 graduate of SC State, a 1986 graduate of the University of Southern California, and a 2004 graduate of Howard University. He is President and Chief Operating Officer of Data Systems & Technology, Inc. which provides information technology solutions to over 30 military and commercial agencies of the Federal Government with annual sales of $8 million in 2002. He is a retired U.S. Army Reserves Officer. He resides in Herndon, VA.
Mr. Jackie Steele is a 1972 SC State graduate and a graduate of Pepperdine University. He is Vice President of Human Resources at Mead Containerboard. He resides in Marietta, GA.
Ms. Wanda Terry is a graduate of Redding University in Redding, CA. She is President and Owner of Ocean Crest Technologies in Long Beach, CA and Eastover, SC where she was responsible for training, web development, and strategic sales/marketing plans. She also served as Sr. Business Development Manager at Gateway Business System
