    In keeping with the mission of South Carolina State University of providing lifelong learning opportunities to citizens throughout the state, the Educational Technology Services, through each of its units: Adult and Continuing Education and Distance Education, serves the academic needs of traditional and nontraditional students.

  • Department of Visual & Performing Arts

    It is the mission of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts to provide the academic and social education, along with intensive arts training to create a new generation of artists and involved citizens for a global society.

  • Distance Education

    Distance education via multiple course delivery services, including Blackboard Academic Suite™, 100% online courses, web-enhanced/blended courses, and courses via satellite broadcasting and video conferencing.

    JECUTC assists academic divisions and departments with implementing a multi-disciplinary program of course work and experiential learning. The education program includes an undergraduate minor concentration in transportation, educational materials for grades K-12, training, workshops, and a Master of Science Degree in Transportation.
