Message from Alumni Director

Greetings from our beloved alma mater, SC State University!

Patricia Salley The Office of Alumni Relations is the primary communications link between the University and our alumni. It is our goal to encourage and foster lifelong alumni participation, involvement, and commitment.

During my tenure as Alumni Relations Director, we will work diligently to strengthen the bond between the University and our alumni. We plan to create programs which will be tailored to your interests and needs. We will also maintain and build upon the positive relationships we have with our more seasoned alumni; while ramping up our outreach efforts to engage our younger alumni. Achieving these goals will require a tremendous team effort, and it will be important to enlist the assistance of University administration, friends of the University, and of course…Our Alumni!

We recognize, acknowledge, and embrace our alumni as vital stakeholders in the advancement of the University. Therefore, we encourage all alumni to participate in and support the programs, services, and numerous campus activities and events which the University hosts throughout the year. Please stay connected through participation in the SC State University National Alumni Association and your local alumni chapter. We also encourage each alumnus and friends of the University to be ambassadors for SC State in their respective communities by assisting with the recruitment of students, by advocating for the university and giving of your time, talent, and finances to support SC State.

Please visit our campus. We will be happy to tour the campus with you and apprise you of our activities while here. If we can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to call me at (803)516-4546 or come by for a visit.  Alumni Relations is now located on the 3rd floor of Lowman Hall.  We are greatly honored to serve our fellow alumni and friends!

Let’s continue to defend, honor, love, cherish and support South Carolina State University!

Sincerely,

Patricia S. Salley
Director of Alumni Relations
