SC State University to host annual Career Day Extravaganza

SC State University  will host its annual Career Day Extravaganza on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. until noon in the Smith-Hammond–Middleton Memorial Center located on the campus of SC State. 

This year’s theme is “Bright Minds, Great Opportunities: Make an Ideal Partnership.”

Representatives from businesses, industries, graduate and professional schools across the nation will visit SC State to share information and recruit SC State’s best and brightest students and stakeholders in the local community who are interested in employment opportunities, as well as advance degrees.

BMW Manufacturing, Boeing, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Sherwin-Williams, and Blue Cross Blue Shield will be among some 40 businesses to be represented.

Graduate and professional schools such as Alabama A&M University, Charleston School of Law, University of Georgia, Medical University of South Carolina, University of South Carolina-School of Law, Georgia State University, and Morehouse School of Medicine will be in attendance. 

The Career Day Extravaganza is open to the SC State University community and stakeholders of the university.
