Join the Career Centers of SC State University, Claflin University, and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College as they sponsor their 11th Annual Career Expo on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center located on the campus of SC State. The theme for this year’s event is “Opportunities to Occupational Exploration.”
“This is a vast opportunity for our students and alumni to explore an extensive range of jobs and career opportunities,” said Joseph B. Thomas Jr., interim director of the SC State Career Center. “SC State, Claflin, and OC Tech have joined forces to ensure that our students, alumni, and members of the community are exposed to the great job opportunities that exist,” he said.
During the Career Expo, students, alumni, and friends will learn about employment opportunities including co-op/internships, permanent, part-time, and summer employment. More than 50 companies have committed to participate.
