Orangeburg Massacre 41st Commemoration Ceremony
World Premiere of the Documentary: Scarred Justice: The Orangeburg Massacre 1968

Survivors, victims’ families and the Orangeburg community of South Carolina will congregate on the campus of SC State to observe the 41st Anniversary of the Orangeburg Massacre.
The program includes the world premiere of Scarred Justice: The Orangeburg Massacre 1968, a documentary which highlights historical events captured more than four decades ago.
Orangeburg native, photographer and author, Cecil Williams will sign copies of his book, Orangeburg 1968.
Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Auditorium on the campus of SC State University
The Orangeburg Massacre Commemoration Ceremony begins on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 3 p.m.
A Sunrise Ecumenical Service will also be held on Sunday, February 8th at 7 a.m. in the Dorothy E. Elmore Chapel on the campus of Claflin University.
