Career FairSC State University’s Career Center will sponsor its annual Career Fair on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s Career Fair will be held in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on the campus of SC State, touting the theme, “Bright Minds, Great Opportunities Make an Ideal Partnership.”

In an effort to provide comprehensive and beneficial career opportunities for our students, the Career Center has invited several Fortune 500 companies, state and federal agencies, as well as school systems to attend.
According to Joseph Thomas, interim director for the Career Center, this list of companies should be a strong incentive to encourage even more participation than in previous years. “The fall 2009 Career Fair will provide an opportunity for SC State students, alumni, and community stakeholders to meet and secure career opportunities from among leading employers in the country,” says Thomas.
