Volunteers Needed for the Fifth Annual FIRST Tech Robotics Challenge Competition

WHO: SC State’s James E. Clyburn University Transportation Center (JECUTC)
WHAT: Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to volunteer for the fifth annual FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Tech Robotics Challenge Competition. The event is a mid-level robotics competition, designed to challenge high-school students to use creative problem-solving skills by enabling them to design and build radio-controlled robotic devices with amazing capabilities to perform various tasks.
WHEN: December 4-5, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center (SHM)
