SC STATE LYCEUM ENTERTAINMENT SERIES PRESENTS JAZZ FLUTIST, GALEN ABDUR-RAZZAQ


ORANGEBURG - South Carolina State University Lyceum Entertainment Series presents Jazz Flutist, Galen Abdur-Razzaq. Razzaq is a nationally known Jazz Flute Clinician and one of the most popular college campus entertainers in the country. Razzaq will appear in a free performance on the University campus on Wednesday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barbara A. Vaughan Recital Hall in the Fine Arts Center.



Razzaq is a talented and extraordinary flutist from Montclair, N. J. who has performed both domestically and internationally for over 30 years. A former student of the Berkley College of Music and a graduate of Rutgers University, Razzaq holds a master’s degree in Fine Arts and Education. He is an arranger, composer, director, educator, and writer.
