WHO: SC State University Campus Police
WHAT: There will be a Driver’s License Checkpoint in which SC State officers and officers from other jurisdictions will check to make sure anyone driving on campus has valid driving credentials.
WHERE: The checkpoint will be held at Gate 5, or the Chestnut Street entrance of SC State.
Vehicles entering campus will be directed into the Administration Parking Lot.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
WHY: In an effort to provide a safer environment on campus, the SC State Police Department is participating in the Law Enforcement Challenge. The purpose of the challenge is to step up enforcement in several categories, to include: DUI enforcement, safety and child passenger safety laws, and driver’s license enforcement.
