The Small Business Development Center and the Governor’s Office of Small and Minority Business Assistance will sponsor Finance for Non-Financial Managers. This education and training seminar will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 in the conference room of the Department of Public Utilities, located at 1016 Russell Street in Orangeburg, SC.
Presented by John Goodwin, regional director for the Small Business Development Center, Finance for Non-Financial Managers will allow you to analyze your business from a financial point of view. “This seminar will allow you to raise your business acumen, ultimately helping you to develop and enhance effective financial controls,” says Goodwin.
During the seminar, you will also learn about financial planning, financial objectives, how to track the indicators of a financially troubled company, and how to establish a relationship with your accountant.
