SC State University’s Accounting Department Launches Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

WHO: SC State University’s Accounting Department


WHAT: SC State’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program offers free tax assistance to individuals who meet certain qualifications. Student and faculty volunteers will

prepare basic income tax returns for low to moderate-income taxpayers (generally less than $49,000), the elderly, students and those with special needs.


WHERE: Belcher Hall, 3rd floor computer lab


WHEN: SC State’s VITA Program will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 30, Feb. 13, March 6, March 27 and April 10.
