WHO: Felton Laboratory School
WHAT: The Collaborative Planning Day-Afternoon Festival will feature SC State faculty and staff and “Felton’s Finest.” Each participant will provide an educationally-based skit, puppet show, read a book, provide an educationally-based lesson/game on savings and finance, multiplication BINGO, BRAIN Quest (per grade level), African-American questions/answers, or any other type of educationally-based presentation.
Educators educate for a purpose and that purpose is to positively contribute to the lives of students and to add what is necessary to the teaching and learning experience. It is mainly about giving back, which is what several of SC State’s faculty and staff will do at the Afternoon Festival.
In a continued effort to enrich the lives of students, Felton’s Afternoon Festival will be held once a month to promote and create cooperation and goodwill with the students and the SC State community.
WHERE: Felton Laboratory School located on the campus of South Carolina State University.
WHEN: The Afternoon Festival will be held on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 from 11:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
