Come experience the biggest fashion event of the year as SC State University’s Fashion Merchandising Association (FMA) presents “Fashion Emporium: Street Chic.” This event will take place on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 6 p.m. in the Barbara A. Vaughn Fine Arts Recital Hall located on the campus of SC State University.
FMA was reestablished on the campus of SC State University on November 15, 2009. FMA focuses on three areas including community service, professional development and fundraising. FMA has elevated their standards and endeavors to inspire their peers and the community through creativity and style.
“Fashion lives in the hearts of young people everywhere, throughout the world. It’s not what you wear but how you wear it,” said Hope Robinson, fashion show coordinator.
Prices to attend “Fashion Emporium: Street Chic” are $2 for all college students with college I.D. and $3 for faculty, staff, students and the community.
