The James E. Clyburn University Transportation Center will present its annual Summer Transportation Institute for rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, June 17 - July 13, 2007.
The purpose of this Institute is to create awareness and stimulate interest in secondary school students to take full advantage of the opportunities that exist in the transportation industry. The four-week residential program is a structured learning opportunity for youth in the secondary school systems of South Carolina. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Office of Civil rights, and S.C. Department of Transportation sponsors the program.
