|WHO:||SC State University Bookstore
Beginning TODAY, July 21, 2010, SC State University students will have the option of renting a new or used textbook for the Fall 2010 academic semester rather than purchasing it.
Offered through the Follett Higher Education Group, which operates the SC State Bookstore, the Rent-a-Text program will allow students to save more than 50 percent on average compared to the price of a brand new textbook.
Students interested in participating in the Rent-a-Text program must sign-up for an account at www.rent-a-text.com. Upon rental, students can utilize the textbooks in any way necessary such as writing and highlighting. Textbooks must be returned to the University bookstore no later than Friday, December 10, 2010 to avoid penalty fees.
