SC State University’s Small Business Development Center Shares the Rules to Starting a Business

If you are interested in starting a business, SC State University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will sponsor an education and training seminar on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The workshop will be held in the third floor development room of Belcher Hall, located on the campus of SC State University. Presenters will be Sylvia Dunning and Pamela Free, economic development consultants from the SBDC.

Upon completion of the seminar, you should be able to understand the dynamics for starting a business, to include: determining if entrepreneurship is for you, understanding your business structure, researching your start-up costs, and understanding your credit history.
