SC State Celebrates Homecoming 2010 with Fun Activities and Artists Monica, Dorrough and Tyga

Sunday, October 24, 2010

MonicaCan you feel it!  It’s Homecoming 2010. This year’s homecoming theme is “Generations Coming Together.”  Young and older alumni will come together and rejoice during many fun events, such as the SC State University Homecoming Concert, featuring musical artists Monica, Dorrough and Tyga. The SC State Homecoming Concert will take place on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at 8 p.m. in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Homecoming Concert is only one of the many activities that will take place during Homecoming week. “I am thrilled about the various events that both alumni and students will be able to engage in during this year’s Homecoming,” says Adrienne Clinton, director of Alumni Relations. “From the historical recollections of the museum exhibition opening and the unveiling of the SCSUNAA calendar, to the astounding Homecoming concert, there is something for everyone. The older and younger generations will be able to unite for camaraderie, truly exemplifying this year’s theme of ‘Generations Coming Together,’” said Clinton.
