Felton Laboratory School’s faculty and staff are ready to begin the upcoming 2011-2012 academic school term. This year, Felton Laboratory School will host parent orientation for all prospective students’ parents. The parent orientation will take place on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at Felton Laboratory School.
Felton Laboratory School’s faculty and staff will be on site to assist parents and guardians with registering students for the academic term. Students entering Felton Laboratory School for the first time must have a birth certificate, a social security card and a current South Carolina immunization certificate.
Excited about the upcoming year, Dr. Gloria Winkler, director of Felton Laboratory School, is ready for action. “We foresee being actively involved in building positive relationships throughout our school and community. As our children enjoy the various school functions, activities and vigor of learning, we also hope to entice parents and guardians in becoming active participants in building a collaborative educational environment for student success,” says Winkler.
Felton Laboratory School also encourages parents and guardians to become active members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
