SC State University’s Office of Admissions, Recruitment and Scholarships to Host Transfer Day

SC State University’s Office of Admissions, Recruitment and Scholarship will host a Transfer Day on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at 9 a.m. in the Dr. Barbara A. Vaughan Fine Arts Recital Hall. Transfer Day at SC State is specifically designed for students currently attending technical colleges and four year institutions, who has showcased an interest in SC State and would like to transfer to the University to complete their bachelor’s degree.


During this event, interested participants will have the opportunity to interact with Dr. Cynthia Warrick, interim president of SC State University and Dr. W. Franklin Evans, interim vice president of Academic Affairs, speak with a transfer counselor from the Office of Admissions, Recruitment and Scholarships, obtain important financial aid information for entry into the University, meet the deans of each college and learn about the unique programs and degrees offered. Students attending this event will receive a fee waiver for their application.  On Saturday, interested participants will have the opportunity to attend the women’s basketball game at 4 p.m. and the men’s basketball at 6 p.m., as the SC State University “Bulldogs” take on the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University “Aggies.”
