Admission Interview Eligibility Requirements

Regular Admission:

1. Letter of Full Admission to the School of  

Graduate Studies from the Dean of that
School. 
 

2. Minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 grading

system for all undergraduate work completed.
 

3. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) – minimum

800 V/Q): 1200 (V/Q/A); or 1200 (V/Q/A); or
Miller’s Analogies Test (MAT)—388-393 (35)

 

4.   Teaching Certificate                  

OR

                 Masters Degree

OR

                 Praxis I- Pre-Professional Skills Test PPST):                 Minimum Scores - Reading 175; Writing 173

Alternate Admission:

Students who take the required tests, but earned below the required scores, must complete:
                    
EDCI  599 - General Knowledge and Curriculum Enhancement Seminar and earn at least the grade of “B” before they are eligible for an admissions interview.
