Application for Degrees

Undergraduate and Graduate

Applying for graduation is a university degree requirement for all prospective graduates. The application must be filed in the term prior to expected degree completion term. The date of graduation will be recorded for the term of completion.

Failure to clear for graduation will require reapplication and payment of another fee for the next subsequent convocation. All applications for the degrees must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office not later than the date set forth in the University calendar.

It is the responsibility of the student to schedule an appointment with the department chair for a degree audit, completion of the Application for Graduation and Graduation Clearance Form. After which, the student will pay the graduation fee and submit the Application for Graduation to the Registrar’ Office on or before the published deadline in the University Calendar. It is the student’s responsibility to perform a degree audit by using Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning (CAPP) in Bulldog Connection.

Application for Graduation is not considered completed until the fee is paid and the form is returned to the Registrar’s Office.  Click July or December Fee Chart to view graduation application fees.
