ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BOTANY
Open Date:	June 14, 2006	Employment Status:	Full-Time, Permanent Employee

		Department:	Biological Sciences

Description of Duties:
	The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching course in botany and/or plant physiology. Develop and maintain on-going funded basic and applied research, develop and maintain funded collaborative partnerships, supervise undergraduate students, develop courses and curricula leading to the bachelor's degree.

Qualifications:
	A Doctorate degree in any of the following areas: Botany, Plant Physiology, or Plant Science.

Special Requirements:
	Teaching at the University level, evidence of scholarship in research and the ability to attract external grants.
