ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY

Description of Duties:

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Speech-Language Pathology; supervise student practicum; recruit and advise undergraduate and graduate students; supervise students in varied caseloads as defined by communicative disorder categories and age ranges.

 
Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, eligible for South Carolina Licensure, minimum of four (4) years work experience in diverse settings.

 
Special Requirements:

Preference given to candidates with university experience and a background in neurogenic speech and swallowing disorders across the continuum of care, experience with augmentative-alternative communication and evidence of scholarly activity are highly desirable.
