On Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 7:30 p.m., Time Warner Cable Channel 7 in Orangeburg, S.C. premiered season two of SC State University’s television show, “A New STATE of Mind.”
The first 30-minute show of the season provided a re-cap of the University’s spring commencement. Viewers also had an opportunity to see our dynamic keynote speaker Patricia Harris, global chief diversity officer for McDonald’s, as she delivered a rousing address to the class of 2010. They also had the chance to meet Korey Boyd and Janae Jackson, two dynamic graduates who made a tremendous impact while attending SC State University.
Hosted by Erica Taylor, director of University Relations and Marketing, “A New STATE of Mind” is a show that illustrates the positive aspects of SC State University. In subsequent shows, learn about the services that the University offers and meet SC State’s head football coach emeritus and inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame, Willie Jeffries.
“A New STATE of Mind” also currently airs Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. on Time Warner Cable Channel 7 in Columbia, S.C.; Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast Channel 2 in Charleston, S.C.; Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on Charter Communications Channel 10 in Greenville, S.C.; and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on Charter Communications Channel 4 in Clemson, S.C. and Seneca, S.C.
