While tax preparation for your business is routine it can also be stressful. That’s why the professionals at SC State University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are willing to assist you to meet your tax responsibilities and to apply the tax law correctly.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2011, the SBDC will sponsor a tax workshop, to be held in the Belcher Hall third floor development room. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the SC Department of Revenue (DOR) and the Employment Security Commission (ESC) will speak to all attendees on record keeping, the types of business entities and employment taxes. They will also provide an overview of various forms, as well as e-file, and discuss Employee Classification.
