Felton Laboratory School, a public elementary school located on the campus of SC State University, is now accepting applications for the 2011-2012 academic term. Felton Laboratory School continues to promote and provide exceptional education in kindergarten through eighth grade students that attend the school.
Parents who are interested in their children attending Felton Laboratory School for the 2011-2012 academic term are required to provide student accident insurance, a student information sheet, one teacher recommendation and the most current report card. Parents must also (PACT) and Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) test scores.
Students entering Felton Laboratory School must also have a birth certificate, a current South Carolina immunization certificate and a social security card. Those students who qualify for the Accelerated Learners Program will be assessed after acceptance.
Dr. Gloria Winkler, interim director of Felton Laboratory School, believes in Felton Laboratory School and the education that it provides. “For years Felton Laboratory School has been a unique and first-rate school in the state,” explains Winkler. “We are unique in that we are a public school in a university setting that exists primarily for students majoring in education at SC State University.”
