SC State’s Department of English and Modern Languages, in conjunction with the I.P. Stanback Museum and Planetarium, will host the fourth annual World Languages and Cultures Summer Camp. This annual event will take place on Monday, June 6, 2011 through Friday, June 17, 2011 on the campus of SC State University. High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply.
During the two-week World Languages and Cultures summer camp, participants will engulf themselves with learning the Spanish language and Hispanic culture while enjoying the college atmosphere of SC State University. Program summer camp participants will learn the music, media and artistic expressions of the Spanish-speaking world. Program summer camp participants will also have the opportunity to learn more about visiting professors who will share their cultural background and knowledge with the students, and presentations and workshops will be provided throughout the summer camp.
