The SC State University Board of Trustees announces the names of three finalists for the interim president of the University. The finalists whose names were forwarded to the SC State University Board of Trustees, by the Interim President Search committee for consideration, in alphabetical order, are:
Ivan W. Banks, ED.D., currently the provost and vice president for academic affairs at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Cheyney, P.A. To review Dr. Banks professional vita, click here.
Leonard McIntyre, Ph.D., currently an associate professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and the Textbooks & Learning Materials Program (TLMP) director at SC State University, Orangeburg, S.C. To review Dr. McIntyre’s professional vita,click here.
Cynthia Warrick, PhD, RPh, currently a senior fellow at Howard University’s School of Pharmacy, Center for Minority Health Services Research, Washington, DC. To review Dr. Warrick’s professional vita, click here.
“SC State University continues to be one of America’s great institutions of higher education,” said Dr. John H. Corbitt, acting chairman of the Board of Trustees. “As Trustees we are working hard to do what the state legislature and the Governor have assigned us to do. We are looking forward to the selection of an interim president; and I want everyone to know that the University will continue to move forward,” he continued.
Trustee Corbitt also acknowledged the dedicated work of the Interim President Search committee for recommending to the Board highly qualified candidates for the position of Interim President at SC State University.
