A.C.E. to offer pageant etiquette and arts camps

Friday, May 9, 2014

The Achieving Cultural Excellence or A.C.E. Summer Arts Program will host two summer camps for youth with varying interests. One camp will introduce pageant etiquette to those who wish to learn to carry themselves with the same elegance and grace as their favorite pageant queen. The other will tap into the artistic talents of aspiring theatrical, musical and visual artists.

A.C.E. will launch its year-long Pageant Etiquette Training program this summer. Training will be held from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturdays only, beginning May 17. Open to ages 10 to 18, the classes are $10 per session or $35 a month.

The Art, Drama, Voice, Piano and Knitting camp will run June 2  -  July 18, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  This seven-week program, which includes breakfast and lunch, costs $400 for the duration of the program. Participants will have the option to pay installments.

Both programs will be held at Felton Laboratory School on the campus of SC State University.
