ORANGEBURG – Prospective students will have an opportunity to see all that SC State has to offer at its second Spring Open House, Saturday April 14.
Prospective students and their parents will be introduced to educational offerings and opportunities at SC State, meet university officials, staff, departmental representatives and experience “bulldog pride” first hand. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Kirkland W. Green Student Center.
The day’s activities, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., include a welcome and informational program hosted by SC State President Andrew Hugine Jr., Bulldog greetings, university highlights, financial aid options and admissions/scholarship requirements. The formal program will be followed by workshops on admissions, financial aid, student life, student health and wellness and ROTC. Tours of the historic campus and attendance at the spring football game are also among planned activities.
Students who have not been accepted to the University are encouraged to bring an official or unofficial high school transcript and test scores with them and SC State’s Office of Admissions, Recruitment and Scholarships will process their documents for admission to the University.
