South Carolina State Softball Closes Out 2007 Season

Orangeburg, SC—The South Carolina State softball team will close out its 2007 season this Saturday (Apr. 21) with a doubleheader against Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach, FL.

The Lady Bulldogs, who were eliminated from the 2007 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship last Sunday, will enter the game with a 5-40 overall mark. SC State saw its MEAC playoff hopes go down the drain when they fell to Morgan State 13-11 last Sunday in the final game of the MEAC Roundup in Lexington, SC.

This season marks the second straight that Morgan has eliminated the Lady Bulldogs from the playoffs.
