THURGOOD MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
GUIDELINES:
Complete an application for financial aid (FAFSA)
Provide a statement of family income and total number of dependant family members
Attain at least 12 credit hours at South Carolina State University
Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
Copy of college transcript & student resume
Three (3) letters of recommendation
Biographical sketch (minimum 150 typed words and double-spaced)
One photograph of yourself

Application Deadline is August 15, 2006 (4:30 p.m.)
No application will be considered until all requested items listed above are submitted. Scholarships are available on a one-time only basis and are not renewable. Additionally, applicants are asked to apply for only one scholarship at a time.
The Delphi Foundation has announced a scholarship opportunity with the specific criteria listed below.
Amount: $2200 per semester ($4400 per academic year)
Duration: Fall 2007 – Spring 2008
Criteria:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen currently enrolled as a full time student
• Maintain not less that a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the duration of the scholarship
• Must major in Electrical Engineering (or one of any fields mentioned below in terms of careers), Civil Engineering is not an accepted major for this scholarship
• Must be interested in a career in Engineering, in the area of Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, Applications Engineering, Software Engineering, and Industrial Engineering
• Currently enrolled at South Carolina State University
• Must have at least 12 credit hours at SC State
Deadline: August 31, 2007
Students should apply and submit the application to Mr. Maultsby so that the Enrollment section (which is located on the 3rd page of the application) may be signed off on. The decision for this scholarship will ultimately be made by representatives from Delphi.
