ORANGEBURG - SC State 1890 Research and Extension, in conjunction with the University’s College of Business and Applied Professional Sciences, will sponsor a Small Business Workshop Series in Dillon, S.C., and Orangeburg, S.C., to assist prospective entrepreneurs in starting a business and to offer the latest business management techniques to existing business owners.
Topics will include: starting or expanding your business, accounting, financing your business, marketing and small business management.
Orangeburg Small Business Workshop Series
Dates: Oct. 30, Nov. 1, 3 and 7 (reception)
Times: Classes on Oct. 30 and Nov. 1 will be held from 6-9 p.m. The Nov. 3 class will take place from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Location: John W. Matthews Jr. Extension Center, 810 Goff Ave., Orangeburg, SC 29115

Dillon Small Business Workshop Series
Dates: Nov. 8, 10, 13 and 15 (reception)
Times: Classes on Nov. 8 and 13 will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. The Nov. 10 class will take place from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The workshops are offered through 1890 Research and Extension’s Rural Entrepreneurial Outreach Initiative, which provides small business management assistance at little or no cost to potential and existing business owners in the state.
