Andy Lowrey, President/CEO of AGFirst Farm Credit Bank will be the featured speaker on Feb. 13. He will share with students a lecture entitled “Agri-Business and the Banking Industry.”

The Executive Speaker Series is a partnership between participating companies and the business program. It supports the college’s mission to provide quality management education and leadership to produce competitive graduates for a global and diverse environment.
Andy Lowrey has been president and CEO of Ag First Farm Credit Bank since 1998.
Lowrey serves on the Board of Directors of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives and the Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corporation as Chairman. He also serves on the Board of the Palmetto AgriBusiness Council. He is the recipient of the Honorary American FFA Degree and the South Carolina Friend of 4-H award. He also serves on the National 4-H Board, where he is chairman of the Finance Committee.
Lowrey is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Business Partnership Foundation and of the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation for the University of South Carolina. He also serves on the Board of Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia.
Lowrey received a BBA Degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia in 1974 and an MBA Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1991.
He and his wife, Jan, have three daughters: Collins, Allison, and Anna Beth.
