SC State University’s Miller F. Whittaker Library Prepares for Smart Classroom

Friday, February 12, 2010

The Miller F. Whittaker Library will begin renovations on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 for the installation of the new smart classroom. The renovations are scheduled to be completed by Saturday, March 20, 2010.

Technologically enhanced, the smart classroom will serve as an instructional facility for SC State University’s Miller F. Whittaker Library. Additionally, it will foster opportunities for teaching and learning through advance equipment such as computers, audience response technology, networking and audio/visual capabilities.

Due to the limited number of computers that will be available during the time of renovation, all users are asked to be mindful of the time spent utilizing computers and other technological equipment.

The smart classroom project is a collaboration between SC State University, the Miller F. Whittaker Library, Title III and SC State’s 1890 Research and Extension.
