SC State University Implements New Registration Process for Fall 2010 Semester

SC State University will implement a new student registration/payment process for the fall 2010 semester. Please note the following dates and the necessary steps to complete your registration:


Important Tuition and Fees Payment Schedule
April 12-16                 Registration for fall 2010 for all students
May 14                        First Payment-40 percent of balance due or financial aid cleared. If this is not completed, class schedules, housing and mean plans will be dropped for nonpayment
May 31                        Last day for admission for fall 2010
June 15                        Second Payment-70 percent of balance due or financial aid cleared. If this is not completed, class schedules, housing and mean plans will be dropped for nonpayment
July 15                         Final Payment-100 percent of balance due, or class schedules, housing and meal plans will be dropped for non-payment by 1 p.m.
July 16                         Late registration begins for all students.  A late registration fee of $100 is charged.

April 12-16, 2010 Academic Advisement with Advisors via Curriculum Advising and Program Planning (CAPP), Obtain Alternate PINs from advisors


April 12, 2010 Seniors Only Registration Day – Course Selections via
Bulldog Connection, Fee Payment, Health Insurance
(Enroll or Waive), Validation


April 13, 2010 Juniors Only Registration Day – Course Selections via
Bulldog Connection, Fee Payment, Health Insurance
(Enroll or Waive), Validation


April 14, 2010 Sophomores Only Registration Day – Course Selections via
Bulldog Connection, Fee Payment, Health Insurance
(Enroll or Waive), Validation


April 15, 2010 Freshmen, Special Only Registration Day – Course
Selections via Bulldog Connection, Fee Payment, Health
Insurance (Enroll or Waive), Validation


April 16, 2010 Graduate Students Only Registration Day – Course
Selections via Bulldog Connection, Fee Payment, Health
Insurance (Enroll or Waive), Validation


Official registration includes completion of all of the following steps:
Step 1              Review of CAPP-Curriculum Advising and Program Planning-Students
Step 2              Student Academic Advisement with Advisor via CAPP
Step 3              Course Schedule Selections and input by the student via Bulldog Connection
Step 4              Fee Payment
Step 5              Health Insurance (Enroll or Waive)
Step 6              Validation (New process available May 1, 2010)
