Student Internship

EPI recruits SCSU students to participate in the NNSA Minority Serving Institution Internship Program (MSI). The MSI Internship Program enhances diversity and facilitates the development of a world class, safe and technologically superior workforce for the 21st century. These internships increase educational opportunities for under-served populations merging academic study with practical work experience for students majoring in relevant fields and related disciplines. It creates a pool of talented students to explore and understand professional practices within NNSA and the Federal Government through exposure to research and development, technology, and administration.

  • 4 students at Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC

2010 – 10 students

  • 3 students at Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC
  • 5 students at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, NM
  • 1 student at Ohkay Owingeh and Santa Clara Day School, Espanola, NM
  • 1 student at USA Jet Airline, Albuquerque, NM

2011 – 8 Students
