Hope Scholarship
- This is a non-renewable partial scholarship designed to assist in covering tuition, room and board and is valued in the amount of $2,800 ($1,400 per semester). This scholarship is awarded to entering South Carolina freshmen only. To be considered for this scholarship the student must:- graduate high school with a 3.0 GPR on the uniform grading scale
- must be a resident of South Carolina at the time of high school graduation
LIFE Scholarship
- This is a partial scholarship designed to assist covering tuition, room and board and is valued in the amount of $5,000 ($2,500 per semester). This scholarship is awarded to entering South Carolina freshmen only. To be considered for this scholarship the students must have two out of the three qualifications:- graduate high school with a 3.0 GPR on the uniform grading scale
- achieve at least 1100 (CR+M) on the SAT I test or 24 on the ACT test
- rank in the upper 30% of high school graduating class
- must be a resident of South Carolina at the time of high school graduation
This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshman for two semesters and is renewable for 6 semesters if the student:
- maintains full-time student status;
- achieve a 3.0 cumulative LIFE GPA at all eligible institutions;
- is in good standing with their major department; and
- does not violate any of the standing rules and/or regulations of the University. Violation will automatically disqualify the recipient from further support through the scholarship program.
