Health

The MBA program in Healthcare Management is focused on health services management. Graduates will be qualified to manage a variety of health-related establishments such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, medical and dental practices and clinics, and assisted living and elder care establishments. Grads may also pursue management positions with medical and pharmaceutical product distributors and insurance enterprises.


This program is ideal for individuals with bachelor degrees currently working in the medical field who want to transition to management careers. Recent college graduates and professionals working in other fields who want to pursue a career in the rapidly-expanding healthcare industry are also well-suited for this MBA.


Classes are offered conveniently in the evenings and on Saturdays at the main campus in Orangeburg and at the Lowcountry Graduate Center in North Charleston, SC.


In addition to 24 credit hours (8 courses) of business core courses, 12 hours (4 courses) of healthcare management courses are required to complete the program.
