Persons desiring admission into the Rehabilitation Counseling Program must:
- Meet all the requirements for full admission into the School of Graduate Studies. This includes submitting of official transcripts, reference letters, scores on either the Graduate Examination or the Miller Analogies Test, and a passing score on the English Proficiency Examination
- Submit a Rehabilitation Counseling Program Application,
- Successfully pass an interview conducted by the Program's Admission and Retention Committee.
- While applicants with prior training and/or experience in Human Services are preferred, others will be considered. In order to meet the requirements of the Program's accrediting agencies, it may be necessary to restrict admission to the program for a given semester. To complete the program successfully, students must maintain and overall 3.00 average, a 3.00 average in all Rehabilitation Counseling Subject Matter Courses, and report a grade of B or better in the practicum and internship courses.
